We have the most amazing friends, ever! Some of them we know from home and some we met only a year and a half ago by doing our YWAM training. David and Melina are some of our closest friends. In Kona, we shared an apartment and bathroom with them. In Haiti, we shared a room with them for almost 2 months! Needless to say, they have become such a big part of our lives, specifically as we head into full time ministry and mission with Justice Water.

When we were purchasing our plane tickets, our friends were kind enough to donate a hefty amount of sky miles…with one request: that we stop by for a little while and see them, their new baby and rest before going to work with Justice Water. We were really excited to be able to do that.

As we have been in Kona now for a little bit, our time there is even more appreciated. There, we were able to work on a few odds and ends, more communication, bookkeeping, the “boring” stuff of being in ministry. We were also able to relax, talk about the future and just have fun with our friends! They were SUCH good hosts and we had a blast! Here are some photos from our time there.
